September is a turning point. The light is gentler, the days stretch just a little less, and the air feels a bit fresher. It is a month with its feet in two seasons. There are still echoes of summer to be found in warm afternoons and the occasional late bloom, but there is also a quiet pull toward something slower, steadier and more reflective.
