Not so much a farewell to summer, as a time to prepare for next year!

Autumn is the garden's sleepy season, the slow exhale of nature slumbering to its much needed rest after the frenetic months of exuberant displays and bountiful produce. Exhausted trees can hold on to their leaves no longer as the hues change from emerald green to a cosy russet.
